Work out your own salvation!

What’s up Beautiful?

Sometimes I find myself praying to God, if not begging Him, to help me!! We have all heard the cliche’ “fix it Jesus”. But the last time I found myself praying for the Lord to fix my problem, it came to my mind to “work out your own salvation!”

So for me, I need to work out the bad habit of handing out money so easily, and then not getting it back. The Bible states to not guarantee surety for people. In other words, to co-sign on loans, etc. So, now years later, I have come to the realization that I will never be paid back for years old debt, and now I must work out my own salvation and become financial free on my own and not look for others to pay me back. I can’t count on those outstanding funds as income receivables or look forward to that money for future use. Therefore, I must work out my own salvation and start saying“no” when approached for money.

God has left some of us to work out our on freedom from debt, to work our way out of bad relationships, awful friendships, drug and alcohol addictions, ill health, spiritual deficiencies, dead end jobs, etc.

So what is something that you must work out or have already worked out??? What steps did you take or will take??? What Scripture are you relying on to see you through or justify your actions???
