What’s up Beautiful,
After you go through the pain, struggles, anxiety, crying & praying, trials and tribulations, once you pull yourself up off the floor and your stomach is no longer weak, you must ask yourself ‘where did this attack come from?’ Was it something that just happened that I must move past, was it natural, environmental, God, the Devil, and WHY?
See, once the devil knows your address, like a thief, he’s coming back. He now knows where you live, what’s in your home, who’s in your home, what you all like and don’t like (whether bad or good), strengths and weaknesses. You must grid (ck spelling) up you loins, insulate your life, and be prepared for battle.
For instance, ask yourself why did this sickness happen? Was it our diet or the sugar Or food we eat, exposure to chemicals or radon in home, hereditary so check on other family members.
But most importantly, it’s not always about us. God knew you would overcome. He wasn’t worried. But you have now been exposed to others. Now you must begin good works because the book of Revelation says our works will follow us to the Judgment.
Did you meet people at the hospital that need help with small expenses like paying for parking during hospital visits, families that need snacks while waiting in the waiting room, nurses who are exhausted and need uplifting- so maybe you can make goodie bags or goodie cups with treats and inspirational messages. Once you payoff your bills you may realize that you have a little extra money to adopt children, open your home to domestic violence survivors, or let a family use your guest room when they come to town for doctors appointments.
Perhaps you can start a charity or foundation to raise awareness about that particular issue. Spend time learning about your battle. Because let’s face it, we all have temporary struggles but our works and deeds may last a long time. So prepare yourself, your home, your friends, co workers, church members for not only the battle through prayer and helping hands but for the good works that are about to come from you.
Ask people to help you collect socks, stuffed animals ( even adults like stuffed animals), or new blankets for those hospitalized, home bound, or mourning. Ask co-workers to fore go the vending machines and donate loose change to cover hospital parking for families, write an article about your journey or experience to help others or even simple start creating better memories with your family.
Whatever, just know that the attack will strengthen you, better you, and prepare you for your next assignment from the Lord. So suit up and as the Bible says put on the whole armor of God. Prepare & do good works!
Be blessed!!!
