The Hands Of God

Hands are not a major organ such as the heart, or kidneys but may just be one of the most important parts of the body next to the brain / mind (as a man thinks so is he).  Hands should be the cleanest body part because is can transmit deadly diseases.In the beginning God spoke (power of the tongue) everything into existence except for man.  The Bible tells us that God used His hands when He created man.  God used His hands in dust to make man.  His hands were used and not any other part of His spiritual being.  Moses used his hands and kept them raised up to the Hebrews could win the battle.  Psalmist proclaim ‘teach my hands to war and my fingers to write.’  Sit on my right hand until I make your enemies footstools.  God will use hands for harvesting His people, to separate the wheat from the tares.  Hands to cast in lake of fire.  See Revelations.  Lambs on the right hand is God’s, goats of the left.  Hands used to build a temple and women that fought over baby.  Hands to clap with, to praise God.  Raise hands to bless the Lord.  Hands used to dig and hide talent in dirt because ashamed of the one talent, see book of Matthew.  Hands in favor of someone powerful enough to start a fight or hand shake can bring peace and a hug can bring two people into a peaceful agreement.  Pontius Pilate washed in hands when crowd urged him to crucify Christ.  That’s how major hands are!

Including saving a life with chest compressions or using your hands to swipe the throat of a choking baby.  Hands to cut and sew a designer gown or make your daughter or granddaughter a dress for the prom or school dance when you can’t afford to buy one.  Hands to sew your children’s costume for the school play so they fit in and don’t feel left out or do arts and crafts with in order to make extra money or hands to collect items for the poor, volunteer at nursing homes to play bingo, or to babysit with hands to engineer cars and trucks and construct houses, building, and roads.  Hands to knock someone out and become a millionaire boxer.  Hands that can dribble or shoot a basketball and earn yourself a college scholarship to better your life or even go professional.  Hands of an artist to paint pictures or sketch houses or even police wanted posters which keep us safe.  Hands to perform surgery, do hair, or sign contracts or count with.  hands of a soldier to defend his or her country.  Hands to play an instrument, play piano or write an award winning song and bring yourself out of poverty.  Hand to write a blockbuster movie.  Hands to make award winning pies and cakes. Hands to discipline your child in love and not hurt with.  Hands to become a master chef.  Hands to baptize with or prepare and serve Lords supper.  Hands to lay on the sick and heal.  Hands to fold together and pray in reverence to God with.  Hands for Jesus to motion to crowd and say Come to me all ye that are burdened and I will give you rest.
