While Under God’s Wings, Please Don’t Ruffle His Feathers.

This thought was inspired by Psalm 57:1 when the Psalmist said “ in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge.” When we are in trouble or going through calamities, the Book of Psalms constantly tells us to take cover under God’s wings. But we should be careful not to ruffle His feathers by still worrying about the problem, grieving the Holy Spirit, trying to handle the problem on our own, calling on the wrong people for advice or to get involved, taking the matter into our own hands and then getting into trouble. Instead, while under God’s wings, we should pray, sing, meditate, worship, wait, and even perhaps, serve others. BUT PLEASE DON’T RUFFLE THE MASTER’S FEATHERS!!!
