January 1, 2021 – The Call to Battle – Nahum 2:1-2

Happy New Year Beautiful and oh yeah, what’s up?

Although we are very much looking for a new and fresh start from the old year where COVID, unemployment, hunger, and fear reigned, we must not let our guard down. According to the Bible we are to stay sober and viligant at all times because although it’s a New year for us full of hope, the devil is still roaring like a lion looking to devour and utterly destroy.

Nahum 2 was what I first opened my Bible to on the first morning on this new year. It instructs is to keep guard, watch the way or road, And to get strong.

I wanted my first blog of the new year to we so upbeat but no matter how positive we are, we must still remember evil exists to beat us into pieces (Nahum 2:1)

So let us not be overthrown. Be optimistic but not overthrown!!!
