What is GRACE?

I would say grace is asking God to do something when you don’t deserve it. For instance, your up late in the midnight hour praying for s miracle such as to cure an illness of a child or to save your life. First, let’s say you caused or brought on the dang problem yourself. Now you need God to fix it. Next, you’re a sinner, filthy, and out of line with Christ. Finally, you have nothing to barter, promise, or exchange the Lord with. So let’s look at this and how I see that grace works.

You need God to heal you, save you, prevent a tragedy, seriously help you and yet you have cared nothing for the Lord or outside His Commandments. Keep in mind that other Devote Christians might have been through the same thing yet their prayers were not answered. These Christians perhaps attend church every Sunday, participate in worship, love one another, and are just overall “chilled” and cool people but had to go through what you are trying to prevent. Now here you are praying for a miracle when you have nothing to give the Lord such as promising to not do this or that anymore or promising to do better, you are full of sinful ways for a long time, and to top it off, you caused the problem.

So you go to God in prayer and He works it out. He answers your prayers. That’s Grace and mercy. He relents, He causes the tide to change, He stops it. That’s grace. You received His help or providential blessing when you didn’t deserve it.

Say Amen!!!
