Nothing should be that good or that bad or that upsetting to make you sin against God by using curse words. This is why God instructs us not to curse.
Now I get it. Nothing under Heaven should be so great that we have to use cursing to express our emotions!!! It took me a long time to get this but why do we curse? It’s to express ourselves. To express that we mean business when someone messes with us. Or, we are so happy or having such a good time that we curse.
But nothing or no one should be so upsetting to us because we should give it to God. Let go and let God!! And nothing is better than Heaven itself so why jeopardize our salvation by cursing.
