To Obey or Not To Obey: Win A Crown, Loose A Crown? That is the real question!

To obey or not obey that is the question When to listen to you husband and not. One lady didn’t listen and got s crown Abigail took food and ended up marrying David. Queen Veshite did not come when King summoned her and she lost crown and Esther became queen.

Abigail husband was probably the older, fat cat type who was say back, didn’t think he could be touched, and comfortable in all his ways. That was until David came along. David was the fine, sting, gangster type young man that this ladies literally made up songs and sang about. He had backbone and wasn’t fearful, not even to slap a bear or lion for stealing his sheep. To top it off, David had men, real soldiers, willing to go to war & kill at his command. What says you are the realest than when you have loyal people backing you up. A team. A crew. An army. And your the unchallenged head. Imagine that! Abigail’s husband now having that in his back yard. Imagine the jealousy and insecurity he must have felt. Or maybe not. He might not have thought anything of David. He probably still he was running it which is why his men mistreated David’s men. But David was bold. He ready his men to kill over this blatant disrespect.

So you see the set up. This is why he had a heart attack when he found out his wife showed kindness, and let’s say it, honor David as the king that he was. Her husband wanted to say F-U to David but the very woman that he shared a bed with went against him toward a man like David whom he was directly at odds with. This is why, like Fred Sanford, he had a big one. The Bible says that his he’s turned to stone. Just dropped dead from disbelief and betrayal. David didn’t even have to touch him. Just an act of honor and humbleness earned Abigail a Crown.
